A Workout Session with Coldplay

I did a pretty interesting cardio workout the other night on the treadmill while listening to music by Coldplay (their latest album: Mylo Xyloto). I will tell you that we saw them in concert a few years back and they were fantastic! The new album has 14 songs on it but three of them are <1:00 in length. I purchased the album on iTunes for $9.99

You could try the following with a combination of walking, hiking, easy jogging and sprinting. Depending on your fitness level try 5 songs, 10 songs or go for the full album listening to all 14 songs while burning a few extra calories.

Easy Warm-up for 5:00 (or Dynamic Warm-up before you hit the road, track or treadmill)

Song 1 - Mylo Xyloto  (time:   0:42 seconds - continue to warm-up)
Song 2 - Hurts Like Heaven (time:   4:02 - increase speed of walk or run)
Song 3 - Paradise (time:   4:38 - build-up from jog to sprint)*
Song 4 - Charlie Brown  (time:   4:45 - hike)
Song 5 - Us Against the World (time:   4:00 - jog)
Song 6 - MMIX  (time:   0:48 - walk)
Song 7 - Every Teardrop is Waterfall  (time: 4:01 - easy jog)*
Song 8 - Major Minus (time:  3:30 - hike)
Song 9 - UFO   (time: 2:18  - increase elevation of hike)
Song 10 - Princess of China w/ Rhianna  (time: 3:59  - build-up jog to sprint)*
Song 11 - Up in Flames (time: 3:13 - hike)
Song 12 - A Hopeful Transmission (time: 0:33 - sprint)
Song 13 - Don't Let it Break Your Heart (time:  3:54 - hike)
