Are GMO's Hidden in the Food You Eat?

There has been some backlash recently of a certain "healthy" cereal that is considered one of the better breakfast options but now may contain genetically modified organism or GMO's in the whole grains of this cereal.  The Cornucopia Institute made some pretty hefty claims this week in a press release that I had sent to me about the cereal in question (that I actually eat as well). It looks like no product testing, however, has been done to date to really know if GMO's are in fact present. This case will, if nothing else, bring to the forefront of consumer's like you and me that we need to become more aware of what we are buying for ourselves and our families. It's never too late to start reading food labels and become more aware of what you're consuming especially from boxed, packaged and canned foods!
