Random Fitness Thoughts

1. 90% of Americans are currently consuming twice as much salt as needed.
2. An average adult male weighs 190 lbs. while an average adult female weighs about 140 lbs. Back in 1960, however, those numbers were 25 pounds less!
3. For every pound of muscle that you lose via aging - you typically replace it with a pound of fat.
4. A study conducted at Princeton University found sugar as addictive as morphine.
5. Fat (adipose tissue) takes up 3x more area than muscle.
